The solution may be for redditors like yourself and me who care about the community's health and quality to keep pointing out the trash to others until the rules reflect the issue correctly. I agree entirely, there's value in the occasional repost for those who haven't seen it and those who post them innocently. Part of the issue is that this guy skims pretty much everything he reposts from the same subreddits to which he's submitting them, and another part is that it's nothing that can add value on repeated posting. Knowingly recycling the emptiest of content in large quantities without adding anything simply and literally dilutes the affected subreddit and reddit as a whole; he is wasting space and time and damaging the health of the community and its members, and we need more people pointing out this serial action as the step beyond simple reposting that it is, so other users can help the content re-balance. I realize that karma has no value: that's why I and most other people don't do this exact thing. I wager that the useless Mind_Virus does not fully realize that fact, and equates the validation he gets from the upvotes and comments on his posts as validation for whatever he is away from the keyboard. It doesn't have to make sense to us, it only has to make sense to him for him to keep doing this.
